What will you study?
Studying Business will allow you to discover the intricate world of how businesses operate both inside and out. It will allow you to understand how you are the target of marketing campaigns every day, starting before you can walk and talk. You will be able to identify the strategies that businesses employ to compete for our affections, making us loyal to brands and how this loyalty can cause businesses to monopolise the markets or fall quickly out of favour. You will begin to gather an understanding of how the purchases you make allow businesses to finance new ventures, purchase the most up to date technology and produce the highest quality products available.
Business is an exciting subject that incorporates many aspects of everyday life. The course is designed to develop an enthusiasm for studying business and gain an holistic understanding of business in a range of contexts. You will develop a critical understanding of organisations and their ability to meet society’s needs and wants, which helps them understand that business behaviour can be studied from a range of perspectives.

Business can take you in almost any direction you could imagine; the digital world, international relations and management to name a few. Business is a facilitating subject with a broad range of career pathways including accountancy, finance, human resources and marketing.
