In the non- examined assessment (NEA) units, you will demonstrate knowledge and skills you learn by completing applied and practical assignments. It is essential that you are well organised and can meet deadlines as coursework will be summited on key dates over the 2 years of study.  The Extended Certificate in Applied Science is equivalent in UCAS points to 1 A level and is designed to be studied over 2 years.
